Ahadu Bank reported a gross profit before provisioning and tax of ETB 1.15 billion for the 2025/26 financial year, representing a 94.2% year-on-year increase, as the bank continued to expand its operations and strengthen its financial performance.
According to the bank, total income reached ETB 3.2 billion, reflecting a 52% increase compared to the previous financial year.
The bank also posted strong growth across key balance sheet indicators. Total deposits rose by 32% to ETB 10.5 billion, while foreign currency generation increased by 58% to USD 126 million. Meanwhile, total assets expanded by 41.39% to ETB 14.21 billion.
Ahadu Bank said its customer base grew to 1.34 million, supported by the continued expansion of its retail banking network and operational improvements.
Beyond its financial performance, the bank highlighted two strategic milestones achieved during the year. It acquired a 2B+G+15 high-rise building, which it said will support its long-term growth strategy, and launched its flagship digital banking applications, Ahadu Le Kulu and Mahider, as part of its digital transformation efforts aimed at improving customer experience.
The bank stated that the 2025/26 financial year, which ended on June 30, 2026, marked a significant milestone in its growth journey, with progress across financial, operational, and strategic fronts.
