The charging station features advanced AI technology that optimizes charging speed and power delivery based on each vehicle’s battery requirements. It can charge batteries at a rate equivalent to traveling 1 km per second, depending on the vehicle’s capacity.

The facility includes:

  • Eight Ultra-Fast Chargers (up to 600 kW): Fully charges compatible vehicles in as little as 15 minutes.
  • Twelve Super-Fast Chargers (up to 500 kW): Provides high-speed charging for quick turnarounds.
  • Smart Pole Chargers: Integrated into the city’s infrastructure, offering emergency charging along key routes.

The station operates 24/7 and is fully integrated with telebirr, Ethio Telecom’s digital payment platform. Drivers can pay for charging services through the telebirr SuperApp, ensuring a cashless and convenient transaction experience. Real-time monitoring and management of charging sessions are also available via telebirr, supported by fiber, 4G, and 5G networks.
