The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA) has granted a Securities Investment Advisor license to Ethio Capital Solutions PLC, marking another step in the expansion of Ethiopia’s capital market.
Ethio Capital Solutions PLC met the regulatory requirements set under the Capital Market Service Providers Licensing Directive No. 980/2024, ensuring its compliance with professional and ethical standards. With this license, the firm is authorized to offer investment advisory services to issuers, individual and institutional investors, and other market participants.
The addition of Ethio Capital Solutions PLC brings the total number of licensed Securities Investment Advisors in Ethiopia to four, joining I-Capital Institute PLC, Deloitte, and Mr. Habtamu Eshetu Gebre.
ECMA reaffirmed its commitment to developing a well-regulated investment environment, emphasizing the role of Securities Investment Advisors in promoting investor education and market growth.
